CE Group is expanding our delivery footprint in Central Queensland and we're mobilising 10 x E&I Technicians and 10 x QA/QC Electricians for a major mine redevelopment project commencing immediately.

This is a full new-plant installation including a washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms and mine services electrical infrastructure.

The Role:
You'll form part of CE Group's electrical delivery team working across all stages of construction, installation, testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities for the new washplant and associated facilities.

Whether your background is in Electrical & Instrumentation or Electrical QA/QC, you'll be supported by an experienced onsite leadership group including PM, CM, Supervisors and HSEQ personnel.

Key Duties:

E&I Technicians

• Install, terminate, test and commission electrical and instrumentation systems
• Calibrate, loop check and verify instrumentation equipment
• Support construction, testing and commissioning of pumps, conveyors and process equipment

QA/QC Electricians

• Conduct electrical inspections and quality verification activities
• Complete ITRs, test packs, commissioning records and project documentation
• Verify installations against drawings, specifications and project standards

General Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, plans and engineering documentation
• Perform isolations, LOTO and follow all mine electrical safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and CE Group's broader site team

About You:

• Qualified Electrician with relevant industrial project experience
• E&I experience and instrumentation exposure highly regarded for E&I Technician positions
• QA/QC experience within construction, commissioning or industrial projects highly regarded for QA/QC positions
• Working at Heights and Confined Space Training preferred
• Coal Board Medical or MMQ Medical required (Minerals & Quarrying)
• Background in mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, BESS, power stations or plant installation preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance and quality requirements
• Ability to work effectively within a large construction crew
