Role Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Managing Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the three (3) pharmacies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and creating an environment that promotes the delivery of “full-scope” community pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance for the continuing expansion of services offered from our three (3) community pharmacies. 

• Implement a model of community pharmacy that continues to challenge the scope of services offered by pharmacy in primary health care.

• Support the skills development of all pharmacists to enable them to operate at their full scope of practice.  

• In collaboration with senior management, develop and execute pharmacy budgets and  strategies to achieve the budgeted outcome.

• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy assistants.

• Ensure the pharmacies operate in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Provide professional advice on medications and health-related issues to customers.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy services and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care..

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.

• Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and the expansion of services offered by our pharmacies to incorporate full scope of practice for our pharmacists.
